Princess Diana Exhibit Arrives in Ozarks
|
Precious cargo made its way through the airport here this morning. Our news cameras caught exclusive video of the late Princess Diana's priceless dresses offloaded from a private jet.
The dresses are in Branson for the upcoming exhibit, "Diana, the People's Princess." The gowns were taken to a private location by armored vehicles and will remain there until the exhibit opens July 1st, which is also Diana's birthdate.
Organizers say Branson was the perfect place to host the event. Tony Doblin with Exhibition Dynamics said, "When we were looking for a place to put the exhibition I had been here two years previously with "Bodies: The Exhibition" with my former company Premier Exhibitions. When we thought about where to put this exposition, where it would resonate best with the demographics Branson was the first place that came to mind."
The new exhibit will be at the former Roy Rogers Museum, which is now the Branson Exhibition Center on Green Mountain Drive.
